PROVIDENCE -- After last weekend's temperature touched 70 degrees and broke records, this weekend could bring a snow storm to Southern New England.
"There is potential for significant accumulating snowfall across southern New England," the National Weather Service says in its forecast discussion. "If folks have outdoor plans or
are traveling they will want to stay tuned to the forecast."
The storm is expected to hit late Saturday into Sunday, the Weather Service says.
The precipitation should be snow across the interior with a mix of snow and rain likely along the coast, the Weather Service says, noting that small changes in the storm track coulld make a big difference in precipitation types.
