PROVIDENCE — It looks like a week of cold temperatures and sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Most of Rhode Island will struggle to get above freezing Saturday — locations in the northwest corner of the state — and that will be the story through Friday, the weather service said.

Overnight lows Saturday into Sunday will dip down into the teens in most locations, though it's forecast to be a balmy 26 on Block Island.

The weather service sees a chance for a change on or after Friday, when milder, rainy weather may roll in.
