Community leaders will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army red kettles on Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at the following locations:

• Jamie Bova, Newport mayor: Cupcake Charlie's, Brick Market Place.

• Susan Taylor, City Council vice chairwoman: Stop & Shop, Bellevue Avenue.

• Colleen Burns Germain, Newport superintendent of schools: Stop & Shop, Bellevue Avenue.

• Lynn Ceglie, City Council member: Newport City Hall.

• Rep. Marvin Abney: Walmart, Connell Highway.

• Ray Gomes, Newport School Committee chairman: Walmart, Connell Highway.

• Jeanne-Marie Napolitano, City Council member: Stop & Shop, Connell Highway.

• Kathy Silvia, Newport School Committee member: Stop & Shop, Connell Highway.

• Sandra Flowers, Newport School Committee member: Shaw's, Aquidneck Centre, Middletown.

• Carmela Geer, director, Edward King House: Stop & Shop, West Main Road, Middletown.

• Marco Camacho, former City Council member: Stop & Shop, West Main Road, Middletown.

Donations for the Community Leaders' Red Kettle Day, and throughout the holiday season, will help local community members in need. Donors also can give in the amount of their choice by texting GIVEGNP to 71777.
