PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Pawtucket and Central Falls police departments, responding to complaints from residents, business owners, motorists and pedestrians, arrested 12 people on charges related to prostitution over several days this week.
A news release from Pawtucket police said the quality-of-life complaints centered on Broad Street in both towns.
Those charged with one count of loitering for prostitution were: Jennifer Bice, 34, of 1039 Douglas Ave., Providence; Lisa Torres, 40, of 93 Broad St., Central Falls; Chauntelle Brodeur, 31, of 12 Manchester St., Pawtucket; Tammy Miguel, 44, of 48 School St., Central Falls; Alyssa Maurelli, 30, of 50 Fletcher St., Central Falls, and Nicole Hazard, 32, of 2 Fletcher Ave., Cranston.
Those charged with procurement of sexual conduct for a fee were:
Joao Brito, 71, of 214 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket; Richard Delano, 55, of 27 Corrente Ave., Pawtucket, Cesar Davila, 46, of 390 Thatcher St., Attleboro; Stanley Wec, 69, of 643 High St., Central Falls; Martin Landinez, 54, of 1192 Broad St., Central Falls, and Carlos Bergollo, 47, of 635 Main St., Pawtucket.
