A 5.35-acre waterfront property at 306 Rumstick Rd. in Barrington was sold for $3.25 million on June 29. The property includes a 7,200-square-foot, six-bedroom home, a historical barn, and a deepwater dock.

The house was completed in October 2014 by Meridian Custom Homes for Robert Kreft, a computer software executive. Kreft had purchased the property in 2012 for $1.75 million, then tore down the main house. The new home has 11,800 square feet if you count the finished lower level, which has an in-home theater, a workout room, a bedroom, one full bathroom, a half bathroom, and a wet-bar area.

The circa 1830 barn was improved with reinforcements to the foundation and rebuilt stalls.

Deed records identify the buyer as Marc A. Greenfield, trustee of the Rumstick Road Trust 2018.

Residential Properties Ltd. agents had both sides of the sale. The listing agent was Barbara Stamp, while the seller was represented by Becky Bishop.

 

$1.4M sale in East Greenwich

A home at 1 Brayton Meadow Drive in East Greenwich, was recently sold for $1.4 million, according to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

The buyers were represented by Susan Clough, of Mott and Chace, and the sellers were represented by Ron Phipps of Phipps Realty. The colonial-style house in Brayton Meadows is in a private setting on more than four acres.

 

Lincoln home sells for $1.3M

A home at 8 Alyssa Lane in Lincoln was sold on June 25 for $1.299 million. Gregory Datseris of Lila Delman Real Estate represented the seller. Broadway Real Estate Group represented the buyer.

The Delman agency said the transaction marks the highest sale in Lincoln since October 2007, according to data from the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service.

The 6,150-square-foot brick colonial home is on little less than an acre with an inground pool and guest house. It has five bedrooms, six and one-half baths, two fireplaces and an attached three-car garage. Highlights include a double staircase entry foyer, inlaid marble floors, cove ceilings, custom cabinetry and top-line appliances.

 

Nayatt property brings $1.25M

A house at 129 Nayatt Rd. in Barrington was sold June 29 for $1.25 million.

The sellers, Anthony and Sara Carcieri of Rumford, doing business as AAC Realty LLC, were represented by David Coleman of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers, Jeremy and Julie Duffy, were represented by Katie Coogan of Residential Properties Ltd. The sellers had purchased the property last Nov. 13 for $1.6 million.

Built in 1925, the 4,345-square-foot, five-bedroom home is on nearly an acre of scenic property with southerly views of the Narragansett Bay. The interior has original period details.
